Official Business

On Monday I got back from an amazing weekend in Virginia with one of my best pals, favorite South African and nanny extraordinaire, Grayson!
Isn't he a cutie?

We spent lots of time acting like parents and had one hell of a Saturday walking around our nations capitol. Washington D.C. is amazing. We made helped a stranger with his art, saw some out of this world paintings and had an all around good time.
We even spent some time with one of the coolest families from the great and wonderful Kingsley Pines., the Harringtons. That's where I met Sue, Chase and my newest and littlest Gal Pal Caden. She's about to be 8, and can't wait to tell secrets and make art when she gets to come to camp this year! This little girl is one of the reasons being a camp counselor is worth it. Seeing youth and innocence in its purest form is a beautiful thing. When was the last time you got excited about blowing bubbles or telling silly little secrets?

Hey, Bud! Let's party!

I watched Fast Times at Ridgemont High the other day. Great movie. And I was reminded of how great Jackson Browne is!

Enjoy!

The perks of a job.

Something amazing happened to me on Wednesday. I got to do something I have always wanted to do.

I got a Henna Tattoo!

Somehow, my lurking around the ladies doing the henna tattoos paid off and they asked me if I wanted to do it myself. And for all of those who don't know... Henna is not permanent...but it is amazing and lasts about a week.

Sometimes this job has its perks...sometimes.
